hehe sorry for the numerous posts related to the same things today but I would really need to be able to use TVpaint for my new school assignment and I thought I should tell you what features I would find usefull.

I would really like to see a Light version of TV paint but not like some other people mentioned few weeks back.

I would just need the different brushes and colours, the layers and a timeline where I can hold frames instead of copying them.

Basically a tool to make basic animations. No fancy FX I use After effect an combustion for that anyway. No obscure Xsheet, Flash managed to get away from using it.

If you use the timeline instead of the x-sheet and with image layers and not with animation-layers it would basicly be what you are looking for, i think.
Its easy to stretch the layers or fill in a numeric value to stretch them.
You only have one sound layer.
Tvp animation is the light version of tvp-pro. (no x-sheet, etc...).

But perhaps that would not be streamlined enough for you. I don't know...
