Save file Requester Thumbnails

It would be great if the Thumnails in the filerequester could be kept over a longer period of time.
Now every time when I quit TVP I have to regenerate the thumbnails, which sometimes is time consuming.

Maybe, it's an idea to keep them for at least one month or so.

Are you on Windows or Mac? No problem with this on Windows 8.1 64 bit.
.tvpp project files always have thumbnails. They never go away.

Hi,

I'm on windows 8.1 TVP x64.
The thumbnails are gone every time I restart TVPaint. (this has been so ever since)
Of course the thumbnails for the TVPP projects remain, but not from the other files like .jpg .psd etc.
I'm referring to the TVP native open file requester.

Ah, you might be better off using "system" file requester. I don't use the built in TVPaint file requester at all. Never have.

I believe that doesn't realy solve the problem.
I switched to system requester, but ended up with no requester at all. so for now I cannot test that any further. Have to look into that.
I believe I tried it years ago, but as far as I remember, not all export / save/ load functions were available trough the windows requester.

leaves the fact that TVP requester users end up with no thumbnails...

Could you do a screen recording and post a video so that I can more clearly see what's going on?

In itself it's not so much of a problem. As an animater one is used to wait for computers to finnish some rendering. Yet doing this over and over again, every time as TVP is restarted ...
So therefore my request to store these thumbs.
