TVPaint and Windows 8 tablets

Hi everybody !

I've been told recently that TVPaint Animation didn't work very well on Windows 8 tablets, on a Wacom Companion. Instead of drawing normally, it would only make small random marks.

Is anyone else experienced the same problem ?
If so, how did you fix it ?

hi,

tvpaint does work flawlessly on my cintiq companion, no jitter, lag, random lines or whatever. maybe one need to update to windows 8.1, reinstall the driver,
check wintab in the preferences and set the power mode to 'Hign Performance'. well, you know, that kind of stuff :D

Actually, the problem was on surface pro, but i imagine it's the same os on both.

Thank you for your feedback :)

I've been working on the Companion Win8 for about a week now and it was only a problem when the resolution was less than HD.

However I noticed that the online keyboard didn't input text when editing a custom panel tool. I had to use a keyboard. Overall, it works very nicely!

I wish we can receive such a material for testing purpose.
If only Wacom was more reactive ...
