Tablet Driver problem.

Ok guys I am so extremely frustrated right now because I can't use my tablet until I solve this f******* problem.... I have a bamboo capture tablet and whenever I try to go to My Tablet and then Pen Tablet Properties, it says "There is a problem with your tablet driver. Please reboot your system. If the problem persists please reinstall or update the driver." I've tried downloading the latest drivers, i reinstalled the whole thing, and it did work at first but then this problem started to happen again. I dont understand this.. I bought this product and now I can't even use it. Thank you.

have you installed the lastest drivers ?
have you installed the good tablet model drivers (incompatibility between Bamboo and Intuos/Cintiq) ?
Well, it sounds like you might have more help on the wacom forums, as it seems not TVPaint related

Yeah, those Wacom drivers are pretty infamous.

Thanks, Sewie. For some stupid reason I could never find this forum (or never put enough effort into really trying). The answers of the Wacom man made me laugh. Once you own a Wacom tablet and can't live with anything else, it is impossible to escape software problems. Wacom has never released a driver that wouldn't start acting up within days or a few weeks at the most; all their drivers are crap and it has to be accepted as the nature of an otherwise beautiful beast.

I try to stick to the ones that work. The latest stable one (on my Cintiq) is 6.3.6w3.
There are more recent ones but I've read not-so-good things about them so I don't bother.

I am constantly having problems with their stupid drivers, and since I work on multiple platforms and devices, I have more problems than average users. But the worst is that you can barely get any help from Wacom. Actually - I did never get any naswer from Wacom neither on their forum, and even not after contacting the support - nobody ever came back to me. Unfortunately for us, Wacom has a total monopoly on their products and there is no decent alternative, so they can do whatever they want and we are just submissive slaves >:(

I can't say I have ever come across any single driver that has left me trouble free for more than three months, so I have to keep selecting older ones, later than older ones, the newest one, the oldest one... it's a discouraging crap shot.
My most common failure is that my pen will lose it's pressure sensitivity in the middle of a drawing, and if it's not that, it's the entire software that vanishes -- just like that! And there is no recall but to uninstall what is not there (this will take several minutes...do you wish to reboot now or later?) reboot (this takes many minutes) throw a dart at my collection of drivers and install (this will take several minutes...do you wish to reboot now or later?) do you want to restart your computer now? Yes please...
The newly installed old-new- whatever driver never remembers previous settings anymore, so it's time for a trip to the old collection of settings...throw a dart, install... reset settings which don't work the same as before... and oh, look, the day is over. Where did it go so fast?
