Default frame rate.

When I start up TVP it lets me, no, it forces me to choose a frame rate (besides other stuff). This is nice for starting a fresh project, but somewhat useless when I double-click an existing project.
But what's the sense in asking for user's preferences when that choice is ignored gracefully? Each time I open a PSD file it's 30fps, a frame rate I never use.
I have a main project file with 25fps. Into this I need to bring hundreds of images. I can't import a layered PSD file into a layer because it will become only 1 single image. So I open the PSD file into a new project - which is, no matter which frame rate I chose in the prefs, 30fps. I transfer the images over to my main project - but either by copy&paste and by using keyframer, because of the different frame rates images are dropped. This is unacceptable.
Right now I have to modify the source project first just to change the frame rate - which takes long because my files are big. The deadline is looming, and every unnessecary step in he workflow is a real pain in the ass.
Make TVP respect user's settings, or give at least a pop-up warning with a choice when transferringimages between projects of different dimensions or frame rate.
