Feature request:
Grab Screen image from either Monitor 1, 2, 3.. etc.
TVP needs an easier way to grab images / screenshots from programs outside TVP. Currently on Windows 8 X64, I do
crtl-prt screen, then edit / clipboard / get brush from clipboard. But it would be nice if there were a button in TVP to do this easily..
+1? Anyone?

I use the software Snipping Tool, which lets me choose whichever part of my GUI I need to print and send, including what's on half of one screen and half on the other.

Thanks Paul. That's another thing I would have never known if it weren't for this forum.
Best of all; Snipping Tool is part of the Windows operating system (I found out after a Google search). So no extra software needed!

It's also good for signing e-documents.

Thanks for the tip Paul. I hadn't used the sniping tool before.
My feature request, would be to easily incorporate screen grabbing into TVP itself, using a button from within TVP, without having to use any other method.
A simple button that grabs all the info from monitor one, or two, and brings it in either as a layer, or as a brush. All in one click. Would be great if TVP could do this, on all operating systems.
I constantly grab images from google image search for example, for color or image reference, and always have to do a combination of things to bring in an image, wasting much of my time during the process of a large contract job.

If you just grab a part of the interface (a panel, for example), you can use [G] when holding the aforementioned panel, just like if you want to move it to another place.
[G] automatically turn your panel into a custom brush, then you can export it as an image.

Ha, thanks for that snipping tip!
and for the second half of the problem...
i made a custom button for this, using this command:
key
load brush
one click and you have whatever is in the clipboard.
its a quick way to suck images into TVPaint
