TVPaint on Network

Actually since I started working in a studio on windows 7, on tvp 10.0.18, it crashed a couple of times.
I think I don't remember 9.5 crashing at all on my Mac at home...
But compared to anything else, TVP is the most stable software

I'm not sure I know what it means... It's a Standard version 32 bit, thats all I know
It happened one or two times to my colleagues also, with same settings.
But I know TVPaint is stable, and I guess it was more an exception, maybe even a windows glitch...

I think Fabrice is asking if the studio computers are networked around a single dongle, the way schools have it.

Oh, got it! Yes in fact - they are connected to a network dongle.

network software stability also depends on the network stability.
Do you have an idea of when it happened ?
Where you doing a specific work with the software ?
Right now we have more problems with Macs, so it's surprising.

Well, I can't remember really

Crashed again

I was not at the computer then - was on a break, came back, woke it from sleep, and god the "program crashed and needs to be closed" in my face.
My Windows is in French, which I don't speak, so I don't even know where to search for the log file...

Does it always occur after the OS sleep ?
It might be the reason.

If so we will check and fix.
It's surprising that noone at 352 reported the problem, we are so close from the studio ...

I'm not sure if it always after sleep - it was only 1 or 2 times, and I don't remember - last time was a month ago
Haha - distance doesn't matter probably

I think others aren't as proactive, as me , or maybe I'm just procrastinating more, and hang out in the forum, instead of working

But frankly, I think that it happens so rare, that nobody really is too concerned...

Today my TVPaint crashed 2 times. 1 in the morning when I came to work, but I guess it was because I left it on and maybe there was some network glitch during the night.
But now it crashed for no reason, network is fine, everything else is fine... first all the menus became gray, although I could use them. and then bang!
I'm sorry I took over this thread, I can open a new one if needed...
