[SOLVED] Demo mode if no dongle is present

I guess there is probably some reason why this isn't the normal behavior, but I'll ask anyway.
I'm using one TVPaint license on my laptop and on my desktop. Most of the time I left my dongle at home. If I start TVPain on my laptop, without dongle I get the error-message and the software quits. Sometimes it would be nice if I could at least try some brushes, show friends some files etc. of course without saving or exporting, like in the demo.
But at the moment I need to have the regular version installed AND the demo, to get the demo-mode without a dongle.

So would it be possible to get the demo-mode if no dongle is present?

Unfortunately, I don't think that would be possible. The Demo version and the Dongle version are different. For example, the demo version does not contain any code lines to save or export. As these lines don't exist, it makes the demo version safe (cannot be cracked).

Turning the Dongle version into a Demo version if no dongle found does not seem possible to me.
