TVPX - how to include more than one entry?

Post by Svengali »

When generating a TVPX, the current panel is saved along with various scripts and other support files all into one package which can then be dragged and dropped onto the TVPaint interface for automatic unpacking.

Looking at the TVPX Animation Creation Pack it seems that you could have many more than one file included in the same TVPX for example:
  • multiple custom panels
other files that the TVPX generator fails to include
    extra palette files
    special data files
    image files
    icon image files
    etc.
Yet it seems like the normal TVPX generator in our software only sets up one custom panel per TVPX.

So, apparently multiple files in one TVPX are in fact possible, how can WE do that? If we can, how do you tell the TVPX installer where (what folders) in which to install these extra files... and what if the folders where those files are to go do not yet exist?

Oh no, you have a proof that it is possible.... :)

Well, it's not possible from inside TVPaint, it is all shell script based...
We need to write some documentation for this, it is not that simple.
