----------------
tvpaint is really good bitmap based animaition software
It have many powerful function for animaiton
but it doesn't have really necessary funtion and interface is uncomfortable compare with other program
As you know, Making animation require much time and many workforce
so ,especially animation software should be efficient
Developer should consider such a point. not adding new function
now l'm going to say what should reform
if programer reform this point, work efficiency will rise
for a frequent update of tvp, please upvote this thread. and we should talk more about our feedbacks on the forum so the devs can know what we want
[what should be reformed ]
1.please make easer button or allow 'your brushes' to bind sortcut key
2.set shortcut key
It is added in tvp10
6.where is the anchorpoint ???
it is a really fundamental function.. why isn't it available already?
7 .I can't copy/cut/paste using the select tool
8. I would love to listen to the sound of project while working on the clip
It is so hard to adjust timing without listening to the audio.
↑I got it
9.resize canvas size of the clip 'individually'!
10.interface is not user friendly(It is controversial)
[new function suggestion]
1.I hope I could bind a shortcut key to the flipbook botton of shapen palm. It'll make previewing the work much clearer.
2.I hope TVP files can be compatible with .ape format.(affter effect)
3.the blank instance needs to be white (I don't say about thumbnail of instance)
opacity of instance decrease
4.proposing function
5. function that allows users to view enlarged thumbnail of the frame when a cursor is on it. thumbnails are not big enough.
7. a simple timeline interface similar to flash or toonboom.
10.function that reducing layer opacity except selected layer
i hope my opinions were well delivered. my impression on tvp is that it didn't really concern user's convenience.
new functions are good, but the basic userfriendly interface is more important.
though I thank you for making an awesome bit-map based animation software.
I wish you tremendous success!
