Light Table not working

Post by JohnArtbox »

I can't seem to turn my light table on... I've switched the lightable icon on in the timeline, and adjusted the lightable panel settings to display 3 frames on either side in red and blue default colours. However nothing shows.
I haven't used it for a while so it might be that I've missed something, but not according to the manual. I'm using tvp 10.0.16 64 bit windows on a windows 7 fujitsu tablet.
Any ideas??

Is the zero in the LightTable activated (yellow)?

Yes I've toggled the lighttable icon to no avail. it goes from a small black circle to a larger yellow one.

Do you have the appropriate mode selected, Instance, being the most common one?

NB. I had also turned off frame 0 in the Light Table Panel...this seems to turn off the light table, which makes sense.

Notice that Zero does serve a purpose as a global slide. To not notice that it has been turned off is a common mistake, but if its name would be LT I think it would bring attention to itself.

Icons are always better and an unlit light bulb begs to be  turned on.
