As propposed here:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6518
I'd like to have the ability to save more tool or other feature settings in preferences than I can now. I'll start a list here, please add what you miss in your own workflow!
- Antialiasing setting of cutbrushes (I'd set it to "best" by default)
- color mode of cutbrushes (mine would be "alpha stamp")
- Quicktime format export settings

Hmm, personally, I don't agree because I use a lot the cut brush to manipulate images, photos, etc...

What do you mean ?

Each time after I open TVP and export stuff for the first time Quicktime is set to Animation codec at 30 fps - which I never use, it's just the stupid default. At least it should remmember my last used codec (mostly PNG) with all its settings, and take the fps from the TVP file.
(The same problem exists in other programs which use QT for export, so I suspect it's not trivial.)

When you are using the 32 bit version to export in Quicktime, TVPaint does a bridge to Quicktime options. These options only depends on Quictkime, so we cannot anyhing to change them, we are not Apple
Concerning the Alpha Stamp, maybe it could be great to define, in the cut brush tool's options, which stamp mode we do prefer to use then (alpha, color, alpha diff, luma...) ?

And given that Apple no longer supports QuickTime, we probably won't be able to do it.
