Color Mixer - movable picture feature

Hello,

yes, I would like to have a color palette with nice features as described here:
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=5285" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And I can imagine that it is a lot of work to do and need time for developement. Meanwhile I often work with the possibility to import pictures into the mixer panel and use them as a color ressource. It would be nice to be able to move that picture inside the palette, for example when pressing the ALT-Key and dragging the picture. Maybe it is not a so great thing to do :roll:

Best regards from Animark

In fact, you can already load an image into the mixer tab, by doing a right click > file > import mixer.

But we could improve it, as it may crop your image.

Hi Elodie,

that is in fact what I do. I load a picture into the mixer. Fortunately it will not be cropped. You can also resize the mixer to see the whole picture you've loaded. That is fine. I ask for a little improvement:

Let's say you've loaded a picture with a dimension of 1000 x 1000 pixel. You can resize the mixer to it, but this would cost a lot of workspace. So it would be nice, to resize the mixer to - let's say - a dimension of 200 x 200 pixel and have the possibility to move the loaded picture inside the mixer. It's like moving a TVPaint project with the ALT-Key inside it's workspace. Or like moving the frames inside the timeline with the ALT-Key pressed.
