Trim images during export

Post by slowtiger »

I create a lot of single images in TVP to be used in cutout animation (in Anime Studio). They all have the same dimensions (same as project), but I prefer to trim them down to the actual used area, which can be quite small. Right now I have to do that in Photoshop.

I'd like to have this as an additional option when exporting images (single or sequence): "trim images", which would cut away all excess transparent area around the drawn parts. Note that this operation should be done individually for each frame.

Exporting as a custom brush should do this, no? If you cut out all frames as an anim brush, shouldn't that do it? Of course, I've never done this myself so I have no idea -- well except for this one. :|

No, I want to have individual image files of different dimensons each.

Maybe can you cut a custom brush and then use the "optimize" option ?

This sounds like something that a short script could accomplish...
