Coloring after a yellow or blue line is erased?

Post by matthewchapman »

If I do a sketch on a layer with a yellow or blue line from the custom toolbar (blue pencil toolkit), then press the X to eliminate it, all the lines disappear.

BUT, when I go to color, the lines are still visible to the program (IE using FloodFill).

Am I doing something wrong? The theory with the blue pencil kit is to be able to sketch then eliminate it. Is it that the pressure sensetivity in the tablet makes TVP not key the color perfectly?

Thanks!

What release are you on? I don't see this behavior in TVP 10. Does the same thing happen if you use the eraser for that color?

Did you ever find a solution for this problem ?

I have tried to duplicate this issue on my end , but it doesn't do this for me. When I hit the "X" in the Sketch Panel to make the color line go away and then use the Fill Tool it works as expected.

Wonder if there is some kind of inverted mask enabled?

In a early version of the Sketch Panel the action wasnt quite right (was it 4 years ago??). it was corrected in later versions. what version of tvp are matthew chapman using? I think a upgrade will solve the problem.
