This is magnificent! The trailer is very very impressive. Is this based on a particular culture or Mythology? The look is very cool, unique and stylish.

thanx a lot
yojimbo!
yes i think my animation is based on south america and african culture .
for the story i get my inspiration in the legend of amazon but my story is different anyway.
the men of a village travelled in direction of a crowned source.
The women and the children remained with the village.the close kingdom benefits from it to attack them.
thx artmaestro.
ok patrice je vais tenter de les mettre sur la galerie.
merci!

Airman (should i call you this?)
i love this artwork these drawings have a very distinct atmosphere, i really like your work very much!
i also think this particular mix of african and south american culture is very intriguing.
unfortunately the clip, was not so inspiring to me,
although some of those action camera shots were very dynamic and well done, i thought that a lot of the atmosphere you have in the stills is lost in the animation.
Maybe its because in some sequences it felt a bit too much like a video game (part of this is also due to the music, i think it doesn't fit very well with the film)

Agree with Tantalus. Still art Great. Music chosen for clip very bad. It does put me in the mind frame of a music video or game of some sort.

yes i like south american culture ,i'm african so ^^
my real name is hermann
thx for my arts but i think i should work a lot again,i got some problems with coloring sometimes^^'
it is strange, everyone said to me that the selected music was very bad and doesn't fit with the clip^^'
but i think it is because my clip is not very professionnal ,i did it quickly in order to show it to my teachers.
so the lenght clip was 4*10 and the lenght music(taylor dayne "do you want it right now") fit so i decided to select this music lol.
sorry for that , i think i 'll do another trailer with a pitch maybe and a better music
ok artmaestro sorry^^

Interesting. The music for the clip did not seem off to me. I think this is because so many Japanese videos, even period pieces, use more hip pop culture type music for soundtrack work. It felt very much like a Japanese trailer.

Yes i know champloo, as a nice example off that.
but come on! be honoust.... Taylor Dayne aint exactly what y'd call Hip...
in this case i would be very curious what a mix of african and southamerican music would sound like, could be very exciting
