The older 32-bit version of TVP should run fine on 64-bit Windows. I used to run Mirage & pre-TVP 10 on 64-bit Vista without any issues. You are limited in how much memory TVP can use, of course, since it runs in 32-bit memory space. Note that TVP 9.5 for Linux is 64-bit.

Brett, you must be right; I just remembered too that some people were running their TVPs on 32bit and 64 bit machines before TVP 10 came out...

I confirm :
TVPaint Animation 9.5 (Standard and Professional) + TVPaint Animation 10 (Standard) are 32 bits applications.
They can run on a 64 btis machine, but they won't take advantage of all the memory available if you have more than 3.2 Gb.

I think you meant to say "if you DON'T have more...:
This is why I first reacted (mistakenly) by saying only TVP10 is real 64bit.

I'm not sure I wrote something understadable...
so I will take an exemple :
If you have a computer with 12 Gb of memory, and use a 32 bit application ( TVPaint Animation 9.5 Standard or Professional Edition or TVPaint Animation 10 Standard Edition ), the software will be able to use 3,2 Gb, nothing more.
If you have a computer with 12 Gb of memory, and use a 64 bit application ( TVPaint Animation 10 Professional Edition ), the software will be able to use all the 12 Gb. Of course, you will need a 64 bit OS in this situation.
