This is a tuff question to compose so here goes...

Does TVP make changes to multiple frame if I change the substance of just one frame in a sequence.
Example: I add a new line and I wont it to be reproduced in a series of frames without going through each individual frame.

The only way I can think of is to make a mask and stretch it over the set of frames, then combine it.

- make one stroke in a frame
- erase stroke (delete)
- select all frames
- hit "enter"

TVP remembers the last action per tool. Sometimes it's a bit difficult because it's restricted to the really last action: one stroke, or one nudge with the pan tool, etc - anything from pen down to pen up.

Another approach (that would let you apply multiple strokes) is to create a temporary layer, move that frame to where you want the strokes to first appear in the time line, draw the strokes to the frame, then stretch the layer to the last frame and merge with original layer.

Just to make it clear :

"erase stroke (delete)" is actually "undo your stroke" by using the shortcut "u" or CTRL + Z.

This is a trick as old as Methuselah and I even know the reason why it works, which is after you UNDO the stroke and then high light all frames and hit REDO, TVP gets tricked into redoing the stroke on all frames instead of just the one. But I have a confession to make after all these years; It has never worked for me. I know lots of people use it; some are probably already dead, it's that old... yet each time a newbie is told exactly how to do it, I come out of my closet and try it again, and again it fails me... I wonder if I am the only one with this character defect.

Try :

1) create images (10 for example)
2) draw a line on one of them
3) hit "u"
4) select all images in the timeline ( high light as you said )
5) hit enter (don't use the redo button or shortcut)
6) Enjoy

Nope. Not even the original line will return on the first frame. This is what I mean -- I am stumped because I've tried this so many times in so many versions of TVP and it works for everybody but me. I always do it the way Sven does. I wonder if he has success following your points.

Yes, it works for me as described. You might check one thing: Look in your shortkey list and see what action is assigned to your Enter key? I believe it is supposed to be Shape:Apply. (Oddly, the manual doesn't list the Enter key assignment)
