Removing every other unique frame?

Hi forum!
I have an anim layer on ones, where each frame is unique. I'd like to remove every other frame and put it on twos. Is there a quick way to do this, that I'm missing? I couldn't seem to find an answer by searching here..
Thanks!

Grab the handle of the layer (the white area at the end) and drag it to the left to half the length of the layer. Then double click under the frames so that you highlight all of them with a yellow band and click on the green X2 icon under Instance in the Animator Panel.

Thanks a lot for your speedy reply! It works great, as long as I choose 'shrink' and unclick 'interpolate' when I make the layer half the length. The green x2 button in the instances panel doesn't seem to want to duplicate all selected frames, but the +1 button works just fine.
Cheers!

Ah, yes, I forgot about that one. It sounds like you are trying out a curious experiment to see the difference between drawing in singles and doubles.
I have had to do this myself on a few occasions because their are cases when doubles come out looking better than the overly fluid singles -- is this your case too?

Hehe yes a curious experiment perhaps! I personally much prefer 2s or even 3s to 1s.. Our film is mainly on 3s. For this scene I'm animating two dudes slowly pushing a huge rolling bed across the frame... The guys should be on threes... but the bed strobes on anything less than 1s! so we are experimenting with the bed on ones twos and threes..! Not sure what we'll do yet... I needed this tool because I had animated the bed in after effects (ones), imported to tvp and hence needed a quick way to try 2s and 3s out. But now I found a way to do it in AE too:) funfunfun - thanks for the help

I resolve these problems by using the Main Panel camera. I would first make a camera move of the bed and then Render Camera to a New Project (under Project in Main menu bar). I would then bring the resulting layer into a new clip and proceed to animate the two dudesin two's on a second and third layer. This is much faster than going to the KF or even out to another application because it gives more control over the action of the bed with instant replay. I also often combine two camera moves by exporting them as two seperate avi's and combining them on top of each other in my NLE instead of within TVP. The top most avi of course has to be exported with transparency/alpha channel Premultiplied. This is not the same as going to AE because for me everything has to end up as avi's in Vegas anyway, so it doesn't amount to an extra step.

Hmm yes I haven't really gotten into the tvp camera thing yet - but it looks like a smart way to do these kinds of things! I'll give it a try next time - thanks:)
(we're looking forward to seeing your film, by the way, it looks beautiful!)
