Hotkey Configuration - Alt key change?

I was wondering if it's possible to change the default Alt key from moving around a document. I've set the rest of my hotkeys to the Photoshop hotkeys and I'd like to make space the key to perform this function. Otherwise I keep getting confused using both programs. Thanks!

Hi Mishiek,

Nope, it's the only hotkey you can't change.

Anyway, we've added in our "to do list" the possibility to assign "rotation" and "move canvas" to another key.

So Alt would be always assign to the features above (and could not be changed), but you could anyway assign another key to move or rotate canvas :)

by the way. Talking about the hot key funnction.

If you are famliar with photoshop. (Wich I love to use).
It has, in my opinion, a nice shortcut thingy. clicking on your stylus right click (in brush mode) that little brush configuration box shows up. It´s a nice little fast way of changing the brush size or another brush. Is that possible in Tvpaint to do.
I´m just thinking instead of jumping over in the menue side and do that !?

Thanks! :D

Here, this is not possible because brushes in TVPaint are managed and memorized in a different way. In Photoshop (from the few memories I have), you just have one panel with all the brushes you created.
In TVPaint, you can create as many panels as brushes, so you must use different kind of shortcuts.

If you want a shortcut to change you brush's size, you may use "Z"
If you want to switch between different kind of brushes, you can assign a shortcut to each brush.

That is great,I'm hoping this will come soon as it's one of the main hurdles I face when working with tvpaint.

It's a shame because "alt" just happens to be the one key that you cannot assign alone to a buttons on the Wacom Cintiq....

Why is it that it will never be changed?

This is from 2014 , but bumping it up to ask: Is this request still on the "To Do List" and will it ever be possible to assign Rotation and Move Canvas to another key ?
