Newbie graphics tablet sensitivity question!

Post by MightyOtaking »

Hello!

I just started using TvPaint 9 Pro today and am loving it so far. Alas, a lot of the really advanced option aren't really needed for the way I do my animations...
SO..!

Is there any way of turning off the pressure sensitivity for my graphics pen when drawing in TVPaint? For my shading style, I really just want it to draw a solid line.

Thanks in advance!

Gosh, and congratulations! I am positive that you are absolutely the first person to come up with this question. Usually it's of the opposite nature, such as why is my pen not pressure sensitive? The answer to your question is simple; next to the word SIZE in your tool change the P in the little box by clicking on it and selecting NONE. P stands for Pressure.

By not using pressure sensitivity you are depriving yourself of yet more options. If you click on that little button and set it to P and then select Options you can create a curve to tweak even further your pressure nuances, such as starting with a harder pencil and have it soften quickly as you draw or the other way around and more.
