quicktimes suddenly silent

does anyone here have an idea what could have caused all my quicktime movies to no longer play with sound?

all other file formats play normal and with the sound
but all .mov files (even old ones that i am sure have sound),

no matter which one of the players i normally use(media player classic, quicktime player), they are suddenly silent!

the weird thing is when i just tried powerdvd it plays them normal?

I haved many troubles to export Quicktime ! but not import !

When updating from 6.x to 7.x quicktime I have a lot of problems ! I try all and Impossible to remove quicktime 7.x, the only solution I found is installing 7.x after format !
