here's a nice brush, mimicking a soft, flat pencil.

set as follows:

Size - pressue - 50% (for project sized HD 720)
Jitter - (None) - 11.00%
Opacity - Pressure - 36.00%
Angle - direction - -110 degrees
Step - 10.00%

Tick 'Subpixel'

Anim 'Random'

you can get a different pencil if you set:
Angle - -20 Degrees
Step - 50 %

Enjoy!

you should try to apply all the factors, especially the angle (-110 and -20), and step!

the preview below uses only this brush, with 2 different setups.

thanks malcooning.

its a nice one!

i found that
jitter set to inverted pressure "-P"
can get nice results with many custombrushes

Fanany,
No I didn't use any paper texture. It's the scanned pencil that gives the grainyness. I must say, I'm only applying what I learned from those who persist to innovate ;)

Tantalus,
good point. I never thought of that. A good balance between size pressure and jitter inverted pressure can lead to very impressive brush strokes. I Must
play some with that!

Cheers.
