I work with a big project and when I work on a part in the middle of the project for example and I want to loop play a few seconds here in the middle of the project how can I do?
Right now I select a frame range (like 75 frames) and press play but the proxy tries to render all the frames until the point where I am (here at about 5300 frames).
Even if it is for a 3 seconds part I selected the proxy renders(just render not display) all the frames before, so I have to wait a long time.
I had not this problem with the demo version though.

Since I am at it the importing feature was a lot faster with the demo version... is it a problem of settings or the full version is .. er, slower?

If you just want to play a little part from your animation, use the Mark in / Mark out feature :
If you want to know more about the proxy, please read the Appendix of TVP animation 9.5 =)
But I would advise you to disable "Force Proxy Render", in order to directly play what you want.

Ah okay, this is the force proxy render that may be the problem thank you ^^
