How To Reset Brushes?

Post by Acitone »

Hi all. I'm new here. I tried to import someone's paint brush in TVPaint and now I don't have all the brushes anymore.
Is there anyway to reset the brushes interface back to what it was? Back to the default? I'm on version 9 Pro. Thanks

After you install a tvpx you should still back it up by exporting it. That way you cannot loose it -- or if you do, you can re-import it. Now you need to find the original tvpx and do this so you won't loose it again. BTW, if you change anything on the panel, such as add a new button, you should export it again so you'll never loose the changes.

And if you want to have the default interface :

"Edit => Preferences => Start => Start up panel"
Then close TVP animation and open it again.
A start up panel will appear and in this panel, you can create a new configuration, so you will have the default configuration.

Thanks for the support guys, I ended up just reinstalling and that sorted it out. I think
I will just remain with the main setup from now on lol. I thought adding a user brush would
simply merge the default stuff with the imported stuff.
