'Display Current Layer' multiple layers

Hi,
I can solo a single layer easily (selecting it and then pressing H to hide all others)
But when I select 2 layers I want to only see and do the same thing it doesn't seem to hide everything but these layers.

Is there an quicker option to solo more than one layer instead of having to manually toggle each layer on and off?

Use the colors for layers.
Set all layers of one character with the same color and use the row of color swatches at the bottom of the layer panel to show/hide what you want to see.

"Hide" is an unfortunate expression. It should really be called "Mute". Then it would be more obvious what the issue is here.

Agree. Show/hide is (only) in the GUI.
Something to remember for the next big release...

This works just the same only when I highlight more than one layer it doesn't work as I would like.
Is there a workaround?

you can select multiple layers and batch swith them on or off, the problem is you cannot go back to the old situation and so you'd have to memorize what layers were off.
(though here the colour-code could help by giving all switched off layers the same color)

a function to display only selected layers, would be a feature request i'd join in.

Thanks for the advice I'll give them a specific colour before I select all and switch off. A function to make this easier would be ideal.

It sure would be nice. I also use two layers while turning off all others a lot. My workaround is to use my Custom button that turns all layers off with a single click and then I turn the two needed ones (color coded) manually on.
