linux - data folder? [SOLVED]

I can't find the data-folder for installing the help-files.
Where do I find it in my linux install?
(TVP9 beta, ubuntu 8.10)

The documentation is installed with the software, you can find it in the help menu.

Ah, ok, thank you! Didn't check there...
But for refererence, say I'd like to install the french help, where is the "data"-folder on linux?

/usr/share/tvpaint-developpement/tvp-animation-9-pro/data
French, japanese and english manuals are already installed.
