New Buttons in exposure panel: add exposures

Hi.

I'm new with TVPaint and so far I'm very pleased! :D

With Elodie's help and instructions I created two new buttons for the exposure panel: "Add exposure to all selected layers" +NL and +1L
It's ashortcut for "Clip" tab => "Add exposures"
A feature we very often need at our productions when we animated on paper and worked with Animo. It adds frames to all the layers (as long as they're selected), even if they have individual timings. We usually work with a lot of layers - props, characters, bodyparts like mouth, eyes etc., so this is very essentially for our work.

Now what I would just need, is a -NL and -1L function, but there doesn't seem to be a "delete exposures". Simply typing in a minus in front of the frames doesn't work.
Do you have any tips?

I attached the new buttons. Feel free to try it and tell me what you think of it. I would be glad about any reactions.

PS.: For anyone who is interested (I'm shure you all already know how this works, but anyway!) Elodie's tutorial (a lot of Thanks!!) how to create a new button (on the example of these buttons above) attached.

Hi Felix, I'm glad to see you here !

The feature you are asking for does exist too. In the software, it's "Clip => Delete Image"

So, in the custom panel, it should be in "Keystroke => Projetct => Clip => Delete Image" =)

Edit : but there will be a problem : the instance will auto break when deleting something, so you will have to recompute the instances manually)

Aaaaaalright... I tried it out, it worked, but it didn't braek the instance.
Which is actually cool, since that's exactly what I wanted in the first place. But I don't understand it anyway!
But as it works out to do exactly what I want it to do, maybe that's allright then...

Anyway, here's the new button. Enjoy!

I hope the export worked fine.

Are you aware of this option?
Under the Layer tab in the main (top) menu>Exposure>Auto Break Instance. It can be turned off or on here.

Welcome Felo !

I'm just illustrating Paul's post :

The auto-Break instance doesn't make any difference in that case, I've already tried it before to give my explanation to Felix

By the way, it's not normal, maybe Hervé could fix that :D
