Remember brush size?

Post by whazzup »

Is there any way to configure TVPaint to remember the brush size I set? Instead of defaulting to 2.0 after I switched brushes?

You should build your own brushes in a custom panel. There you can save every individual setting.
TVPaint 10.5.7 - Win10/64
TVPaint 11.0.8 - Win10/64
TVPaint 11.0.8 - Win10/64 (Wacom Companion 2)

TVP animation automatically remembers the brush size, except if you use a custom brush, such as the black pen, in the sketch panel =)

You can set your own tools by making a personal tool bar. For this : "Windows" => "Custom panels" => "New tool bar".

When the new tool bar is created, right click on the tool bar and "Grab current tool".

I must say I'm very satisfied after I learned that trick with the custom panels and the shortcuts. Getting the correct brush in the right size and with the correct colour just with one keystroke saves me a lot of time.
