Prevent Bezier-Select-Points from snapping to eachother

And here's a point that drives me crazy 
A want to make a selection with the Bezier-Select-Tool. The problem is, when I want to set a new point (I don't really know how to name them) very close to an existing other point, the older one snaps to the new position. I want to have a new point instead. Is there a possibility to prevent TVPaint from snapping in this situation?
