Convert a layer to two's

I have a layer of single frame animation.
I want to quickly change the whole layer to two's.
How can I do this efficiently?

select all images, RMB>Duplicate Images>Apply "1".
There are other ways, all depending on which version of TVP you are using.

double click under the layer so that all frames are selected
then in the animator panel in the exposure section hit the [+1] button once
