Ok, so im having a troubles with tvp 8.5 on my new computer - when i just slightly touch my tablet with the tip of the pen it makes a full weight dot.
Here's the example:
I'm using winXP 64x and the latest wacom driver. All other programs work fine so i guess it has to be a problem with the tvpaint software and his relationship with the driver.
Tried to reinstall, restart, stop service and restart, turn on subpixel option... and nothing worked so far.

Hi MrWolf, and welcome.
where's your supposed exemple image? I can't see anything ...
anyway, the first thing you have to do urgently is to
update : from the menu Help / Check for Updates ...
(8.5 is more than 2 years old and a lot of bugs have been fixed in 2 years)
I bet running in 8.6.4 will fix your tablet issue.
beside, you can look
there.

Imageshack is having some problems.. Heres the new one:
Its weird cos
it worked fine on the other computer... I guess i should get 9.5 demo and try that before updating.
Now,
I searched before posting and
http://www.tvpaint.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3540" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; thread didn't help - guy doesn't even know how he fixed it.
Any other suggestions.

Maybe do ou have an other software running in background task, interfering with TVP or the Wacom driver ?
It sometimes happen on Tablet PC.
guy doesn't even know how he fixed it.
I remember, he has just updated his software to the lastest version.
