Mac Dongle not reading.

Post by Sarath87 »

I'm sure this issue has popped up before, but I'm brand new to this software and need help. I've recently purchased a copy of TVPaint(9.5) for school, but the Dongle will not read. I'm running on a Macbook Pro with system OSX 10.5.8. I've tried reinstalling the Sentinel Drivers several times and just reinstalling the entire program was, but with no luck. I even tried hooking up a universal USB hub and plugging the dongle into that, something that my classmate tried and managed to solve his problem, but unfortunately that didn't work for me either. I'm currently waiting on a response from the company, but maybe some of you guys can give me some advice and maybe even a possible solution to my problem. I hope I get this resolved soon, I have homework to do XD

Two steps I sometimes missed when I installed the dongle driver:
1. Don't install the driver while the dongle is plugged in!
2. Restart the Mac after installing!
Other than that I never had any dongle problems.

Dear Sarah,

The 9.5 version is pretty new and we have recently made some bugfixes.
Please can you download the lastest version from here with your code and tell us about the result ?
