line a few pixels away from cursor

Post by jasper23 »

I had this problem a couple of years ago but I don't remember the solution.
My lines appear a few pixels to the left of the cursors point.
What do I need to adjust?
(this is with version 7(mirage) BTW
Thanks!

Do you use a tablet or a cintiq? In that case, re-adjust the tablet again. This is done in the tablet's driver.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I don't think it's a tablet driver problem since it's only happening with version 7 and not version 9.
Any ideas? I remember doing something about three years ago when it happened before.

Hi Jasper,
your problem is a know issue of wintab drivers and Mirage ( TVPaint 7 ) with cintiq or tablet PC
It possible to fix it but you lose the subpixel drawing capabilities of Mirage.
- open mirage.ini file (Start > Run > mirage.ini)
- add the following text at the bottom of the ini file : nosubtablet=1
