Undo spline points?
Undo spline points?
Is there anyway you can undo spline points?
They don't seem to go into the undo history so if I draw a couple nodes and then want to undo, I'm undoing stuff I drew before starting to draw the spline and not the points. Selecting a node and hitting the delete key doesn't do anything either.
Also while on the subject of splines.. when adding a point somewhere along a path (Context click/add point) it doesn't show up until I click the new (invisible) point. However, if I recall a spline I created with "Enter" and add points, then they show up like they should, seems like a small bug.

to delete a point on a Bezier spline, select it and RMB-Click (on the selected point)/Delete Point,KenC wrote:... Selecting a node and hitting the delete key doesn't do anything either.
(the top one of the 5 commands of the popup menu).

Yay, found my first bugFabrice wrote:Ok bug confirmed.
I was hoping to avoid that, it's very slow to rmb-delete on a lot of points, would be easier if delete just deleted the selected point and then selected the previous one. Then you could quickly hit delete a couple times to chop of points until you got to where you wanted to continue from, or if points were added to the undo history you could just hit undo a couple times.ZigOtto wrote:to delete a point on a Bezier spline, select it and RMB-Click (on the selected point)/Delete Point,

Understand by "Bug confirmed" that it will be fixed in the next updateKenC wrote:Yay, found my first bugFabrice wrote:Ok bug confirmed.

Soon you'll be able to delete last points on a spline when using "Shift-Delete" on your keyboardKenC wrote:I was hoping to avoid that, it's very slow to rmb-delete on a lot of points, would be easier if delete just deleted the selected point and then selected the previous one. Did this make it into 9.5? I can't make it work. I searched in keyboard shortcuts in case I rebound that key (Loaded my saved shortcuts from last version) but there doesn't seem to be anything that will undo spline points.Elodie wrote:Soon you'll be able to delete last points on a spline when using "Shift-Delete" on your keyboardKenC wrote:I was hoping to avoid that, it's very slow to rmb-delete on a lot of points, would be easier if delete just deleted the selected point and then selected the previous one. Re: Undo spline points?
you're right, it has been left out of the update. No Undo and no delete-point shortcuts of yet. Only the more laborious right-click to our salvation.KenC wrote:Did this make it into 9.5? Re: Undo spline points?
It works men, just set the default keyboard shortcuts, and all will be okay =)
If you don't want to have the default shortcuts, please, put a shortcut on "Drawing : delete the last point" =)

Re: Undo spline points?
"Drawing : delete the last point" aha!
I was searhcing in the shortcuts for "undo" and also couldn't find anything just scrolling the list looking for something that looked like it would undo spline points. I get snowblind sometimes looking though that huge list
