i am having trouble loading my canon A60 to the live plugin on the TVpaint. i have version 8.64 of TVP.

i loaded the CD that came with the camera and the beta .099 of the canon plug in and when i go to the 'video graber' menu the canon is NOT listed as being an option. (it only lists WDM)

I got the canon plugin off the mesg board and it appears to be installed correctly.

i am using a USB cable to connect the camera and the computer. I also have windows vista on a dell computer.

if anyone can suggest a solution i would greatly appreciate it! thank you

I think the camera must be recognize first by system before open video grabber. Are you sure your camera is recognize by Windows?

talked to canon got windows to notice camera, also i can now shoot live imagery through the desktop onto canon software however tv paint still refuses to say anything but WDM when i open video grabber. any other advice would be greatly appriceated. Thanks for the earlier input sorry took so long to get back, on vacation, and doing photography. Thanks again
