TvPaint on MacBook uses 106% of CPU ?

Hi there,

I have been making a live animation show, so I wanted to make and play animations in TVPaint on stage (with beamer).
This works perfect on my (2003 dual xeon) PC workstatioin, but when I try it on my MacBook Pro (2006, core duo 2.16 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 100GB) the animation stalls on irregular moments.
(which prevented me from using the mac, because the animation must be in sync with live musicians)
When looking at task manager / processes I see that on the PC TvPaint takes 3% or 4% when playing an animation, but on the Mac it uses "106%" of CPU time ?!
Is there anything to do about this? (apart from taking the PC to the shows, which I did last time but was very cumbersome)
Wouter

Which version are you using (latest is 9.0.7) ?

Did you activate the "Best Quality Preview" (Ctrl-D 18) ?

Yes I tried all different preview settings. Also tried to set data rate MB/sec to a lower value but that didn't help

I am now using 8.64 would version 9 be different?

Ah, sorry, I was mailing from my PC and forgot about the different versions...
I was using 8.59 on the mac, I have updated to 8.62 and that resolved the issue.
It now uses 44% and seems to work fine.
Thanks!
