I'm having a weird issue when I enable TABLET > SUBPIXEL in the PREFERENCES menu. After i do this, I can no longer use my right mouse button on my Wacom pen.
When I disable the SUBPIXEL it work ok again. Any ideas? I have a Wacom Intuos3 A5 Wide.

The possible keyboard shortcuts are listed in the appendix of the manual. I printed this list because it's much faster to find a specific term there, the go back into preferences and easily know where to search.

Where is that done? I don't recall ever seeing anything like that?

Weird; I never had to do anything with that so it became a blind spot for me. But it doesn't cause me your problem. What do you use it for?

I hadn't ever selected before but thought it might help me get finer detail on my strokes.

Hi,
It's not a bug, when the subpixel is selected, the finger button switch the stylus tip to RMB: you must click on the side switch and draw with the pen to simulate RMB. ( It's the only way to use an RMB with pressure capabilities )

OK, yes, it's working when I do this. Can you tell me if there are any real benefits to using SUBPIXEL option. If so what are they?

Cheers,
Yes, Subpixel mode is a real benefits, it allow to use the mouse coordinates with a precision better than a pixel

Hmmm... so when is it beneficial to have it turned off? There must be some reason for giving us the choice.

Because SubPixel grab tablet coordinates directly from the tablet with wintab and on tabletPC (or some other configurations) the tablet coordinates converstion to the screen coordinates can be rotated and not linear (and impossible to be deducted ( for me ) ).
SubPixel Off TVP use only coordinates from the cursor, at the pixel resolution only ( except with functions working only on some TabletPC drivers ).
Subpixel off is a compatibility mode. ( Paul, do you remember the "subpixel" patch on mirage to inactivate it ? )

Are you serious? Was this done in TVP or are you using the picture only as a good example? But whichever, it sure explains its purpose well.

Try yourself Paul, with the propelling pencil without pressure connexion and with slow vertical and horizontal strokes at 100% zoom ratio,

After I wrote that I had never heard of it I thought it actually did sound vaguely familiar and now I remember and even remember asking the same question back then. I believe the answer was that game designers need it to be off too.
