CutBrush color

The lines that show you where you are with the Rectangle CutBrush are yellow. I am having a hard time seeing them against the soft grey background I am using. I can't find where to change that color to something easier to see and feeling strained eyes.

Does anyone know where I could change that?

If you want to change the drawing space :
t01p.png
If you want to change the color background :

=>Go Edit

=>Preferences

=>Interface

=>and choose the colour next to "Colour Background"

I hope I've helped you :D

I'm afraid you can't change this lines color, the only ones users can color-change are the Grid lines (default = red), and the Guide lines (default = yellow).
I think you can add this UI setting option in the Feature Requests section,
but I don't think you will find a lot of people supporting it .
that's said the full-size cross cursor being yellow, when you click&drag to draw a rectangle ,
the rectangle edge should be shown Red, (=>more visible) like the other Rectangle (Selection/Drawing) tools.
I consider this yellow rectangle box as a bug, or at least an inconsistency.
a workaround is to use the Rectangle selection tool, then hit a shortkey assigned to the command [Shape Select: Cut To CustomBrush] or [Shape Select: Copy To CustomBrush], depending what you need, Copy or Cut it.

Thanks, Elodie, I knew about changing background.

ZigOtto: That workaround is too many clicks for me. I think I'll just darken my background a bit to make the yellow pop up better. I will add this request to the wish list as I like the red better. Thanks.
