The Mysterious Explorations of Jasper Morello
- something mixed up with Lotte Reininger, 3D, and much SFX.
I liked the SFX- clouds and the use of silhouette technique (which old-style seems to be faked (= done in 3D ? ) !)
But also thinking SFX-3D-particles for smoke etc. are so much overdone. Wishing for more modesty at all, so this is none of my favorite ones.
BAFTA and Oscar-nomination although.

Re: Interesting short
This Film was animated with Celaction
i worked with the first incarnation of the software in 1999 on "the big knights"
I was recently asked for a production that made use of celaction but i found that
the program has evolved into something of an interface nightmare.
the keyboard shortcuts list ammounted to more then 10 A4's.

Re: Interesting short
seems like they have a way of integrate true 3D into 2D (a better one like Anim Studio has ?)
- or are the clouds and machines 2D-done ?
