Marking individual frames

Hello dear TVP friends,

I have noticed the handy option to mark different timelines with different colors in TVP; I am wondering, is this possible with different frames within one timeline as well ? Just for clarity sake...

Say, for instance, if I was working on an animation (or animated loop) it might sometimes be handy (or clearer in the workflow) to give certain frames a different color. That is; in the timeline layout, not the image corresponding to the frame. Just so I could locate certain frames quickly and easily. So for instance, within one timeline, frame 1 to 5 would be marked blue, frame 6 to 10 purple, frame 10 to 15 red, etc.

Is this possible ?

Ah, that is great ! That will absolutely work for me !
But just wondering... is it possible to vary the colors of the bookmarks...?

Hi Sewie,

Even thou you can't mark a frame(s) at the moment...there is a work around
Create another layer above or below...place a frame or frames where you want to go back to. Color those as full frames with what ever color you want.
just don't have them seen for the output...then you have colored markers on frames or sequences...this also helps when quickly moving around the project to specific places. or selecting a sequence to playback.

Hope that helps...for a work around.

Cheers,

Ray Adams

Thanks Radams,
That is a good alternative indeed. Between this and the bookmarks, I'm a happy animator !
