Hi all,
We release today a new update for TVP Animation Standard and Professional Edition. This update is the 8.6.1 version and fix some bugs and behavior:
-Fix the Sharp, Tint and Colorize mode,
-Fix the registration ( 30 days ),
-Fix Clear Frame when the FXStack Preview is active,
-Add Ctrl D 18 to activate the full Antialised preview mode ( experimental only, not optimized now )
-Fix the Help.

You can download the update by using the "Check for updates" function in the "Help" menu of the TVP Animation or use the update page on our website for TVP Animation 8.x.

Should I assume that one should select "Repair" and not "Modify" in the InstallShield Wizzard?

Well, I'm in a mess. I was too impatient to wait for the answer and went ahead the way I presumed I should, selecting "Repair". Now I get a dialogue box saying that my dongle isn't present (it is). It further says to re-plug my dongle and click OK to contiue, so I removed it and replugged it, pressed OK, and TVPaint vanished.

What now? Please don't make me wait too long.

I uninstalled TVPA and reinstalled 8.6 and all is fine. But before I did that I tried installing 8.6.1 and the problem prevails so I'd say there's something wrong with that version.

I did the maintanance with ("Modify").
But after installing-process and starting TVP - it says still version 8.51US

So I have to go to 8.6 and then to 8.61 ????

And why isn#t there an error-message when coming from 8.51 ???

Installation went fine for me, but I am having the dongle problem. Wondering if we need to install new drivers

-installed 8.61
--> no dongle recognized, crash ! (Paul here I am...)

So what's so fine about installing with the dongle problem? 8.6.1 is useless isn't it?

Uninstall again and reinstall 8,6.0 and don't trust anyone over 30.

Yep. 8.6.1 ain't working.

I installed with the sentinel driver option too - doesn't also work.

OK, It's a bad build for some of you who use the Mirage dongle, sorry
