Is it perhaps just for the trial version of the Creation Pack?

It would be nice to have a little list of changed/ added features even with every small update.
I don't use every button every day, so chances are i will run into the improved stuff rather late,
or not run into it at all because of stuborn habits.

And, offcourse, it would adress my curiosity

I didn't even realize when I downloaded my upgrade last night that it was 8.6.0... very cool. Would be nice to know what's in it that distinguishes it from 8.5

I think the main thing is the management of custom panel which has been improved to make sharing easier but I'm not sure if it's the only thing.
I guess Fabrice can tell us more about that.

Hi there,

The 8.6 version allows to load the .tvpx files which can contain several useful things like :
- Papers,
- Custom Panels
- FX
- Mixers and Bin
.....

The .tvpx files are used in the Creation Pack to reduce the number of files on the DVD. You will find one sample of tvpx file here:
http://www.tvpaint.com/images/products/ ... 0Trial.zip

So everybody who has purchased the Creation Pack has to dowload and install the 8.6.

( Also, the 8.6 version contains some minor bug fix in the dip file format and in the sketch panel )

What features did you request?

After a quick search I couldn't find any mention of this file creation process: Is the .tvpx file format for universal sharing, meaning can any USER assemble a .tvpx file for distribution to other TVP users? If so, is this done using some option in TVP 8.6? Or how?

Thanks,
Sven

That would be a good feature, I agree. Maybe in version 9.0 (which I suspect won't be out for a while since 8.6 just came out)

The tvpx format will be for universal sharing (Custom Panels, Papers, Plug-in, Mixers, etc ... : everything which is not a project) although an user can't create it at the moment.
The creation of the tvpx files will be added later, we are working on it, stay tuned ! :)

Well, this will be a fantastic capability, thanks!
