Can I alternate using TVPaint between two computers depending on which one has the dongle attached to it? If so, how should I go about installing TVP on the other computer?

I do this with two PC (Dell-Alienware)
The unnoying news is, that you can't run TVP without a dongle, so the program will quit if you take the dongle to the other machine.
My installation-routine were both equal.

Right, that's what I expected (that I would move the dongle from computer to computer). So do you think I can copy my entire TVP folder from one C drive to the other and install using the installation TVPaintAnimationPro_MIR_Installer.exe? and expect to have all my custom panels and plugins in place?

If you unplug the dongle, a popup will appear indicating that you have unplug it. If you click on the "OK" button, the program will shut down since no license is present. If you let this popup opens, plug again the dongle and then click on the "OK" button, you can continue to use TVP Animation.

That's exactly what I did !
(1. installing with the .exe
2. installing the PPalette
3. copying all my personal configs and brushes)

I also tried this,
but it doesn't work for me.

TVP quits on both machines.

I'm not sure, maybe a sentinel dongle driver problem.
At least, install the sentinel program with a standard setup.

I already have a Mirage installed on that second computer and this Mirage has its own dongle. Will that be in conflict with TVP? In other words, I will have two dongles on that machine; one with a Mirage unlock code and the other with a TVP code.

I have them both on my Dell. Two dongles, two apps. It works.

Thank you all, it sounds like I know enough to just do it.

and you will need lot of Ram, I mean sufficiently if you want to run both at the same time.

Nah... I don't need to run both, but I have lots of RAM anyway. This used to be my Mirage main workhorse computer before I went to an even bigger one. I just want it set up and ready to draw with in case my big one went down, as it did just recently for about a week.

we use two TVPaint licenses (and two dongles) on a 5 computer network in the studio (one is a Mac and 4 PC's)
we dont even have to move the dongles as long as the machine with the dongle is on the application runs perfectly...
the licenses had do be converted to network licenses tho but Fabrice helped us there

I don't mind moving the dongle around -- both insert extensions are on my desktop and about an inch apart from each other. If my other computer would be out for repairs I wouldn't be networked to it anyway. But it's good to know that TVP would help me with it if I ever needed it.
