Today I installed the 8.5.10 update for TVP (I was still using 8.1) and now when I'm trying to run the program I get the following message:

"The TVP Animation dongle is
not present on USB port.

This dongle must remain attached
to USB port while TVP Animation
is running.

Re-Plug your dongle and click on 'OK'
to continue using TVP Animation."

My dongle however worked perfectly the minute before I installed this update and it is plugged in to a working USB port.
Perhaps someone could give me some advice on how to solve this problem?

have you tried to re-install the Sentinel Driver only ?
(I use to unplug the dongle, install the driver, then plug in the dongle again).

I guess trying and hoping wasn't good enough...
I unplugged my dongle and installed the Sentinal System Driver again,
which didn't work.
Then I went through the entire installation process again (both TVP and the Sentinal System Driver), which eventually still gave me de same dialogue box saying I don't have my dongle plugged in.

I tried it once more from the very start, had to fill in my unlock code again and everything. And now I am once more the proud owner of a working TVPaint! Even a new and improved, updated version!
