hi Mistchiff, and welcome!

what do you mean by "both pro and the original version" ?
do you mean demo versions ? ... registred versions ? ...
what do you call the "original" version ? CD from the box ? ... TVPA Standard edition ?
which version ? ... the last public release v.8.5.8 ?
did you unintalled previously any existing version(s) on your system ?
did you intalled them in "modify", ... "repair" mode ?
have you installed firstly the Standard edition ?
... and after having checked that it worked, installed the Pro version ?
... in the same folder? ... then checked if it worked, but it didn't ...?
then both the 2 versions didn't work at all ?
...
have you try to uninstall both, then re-install only the Pro version,
and see what happens, if it works or not ?

as your case seems a bit special, more details would be
very appreciated.

thanks to help us to help you. :)

oh, I forgot,
in first, can you check whether you really have this Wintab32.dll file
in your C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder ?
because if not, no need to go further ...
(try to re-install your tablet driver in that case)

This post also has nothing to do with it, i'm just observing that you are very creative with english to come up with a word that has only 3 google hits.
