Can export with a non-premultiplied alpha and keep detail?
I'm trying to export a image with a non-premultiplied alpha for use as a particle in a 3d program. If I export it as premulitplied I get a black edge while rendering, but if I export it as non premultiplied I appear to lose all but the most basic alpha information. Am I doing something wrong or does exporting a straight alpha require additional preparation?
Salut JohnArtbox,
It is a recurrent problem cause there is no standard method for premultiplied and non premultiplied alpha. Programs can not know if the data are premultiplied or not.
After exporting the file in TVP Animation, try to locate where you can change the import alpha option in your other software and select premultiplied or non-premultiplied alpha.
Let me know if it works.
