No preview on cutting tool Topic is solved

Hi there! I use TVPaint 12.0.3 and I'm having an issue with the cutting tool. There is no preview of what I have selected. This worked fine in version 11. However, in version 12.0.3, the "Preview" option cannot be activated. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you very much for your help! Cheers, Jens.

I am not supersure of this but I think the cutting tool is another tool.

Most likely a preferences issue:
(For 12) Go to the pref panel, Drawing part, then uncheck Tool Display: Hide tool preview (at the bottom).
