The Dr. Who episode LUX had an extended animated sequence, animated with TVPaint , production by Framestore London . Animators included Neil Boyle, Tim Watts, Gary Dunn ,Dani Marsh, Michael Schlingmann, and Julien van Wallendael at Framestore, supervised by Ian Spendloff and David Lochhead.

Oh. THat's just plain lovely. I never got into Dr Who, but this is amazing. How much money and time went into producing that episode AND the making of! And that 1930's character moves so great, I'm a sucker for precise silliness like this.
