import images and copy layer timing

I am doing a lot to my initial drawings on paper. It would be nice to be able to select an instance in the timeline and import a image/images from a folder to replace the existing images directly. Keeping the timing of the initial drawings/instance would be great.

Also, copying the timing from one layer and applying it to another layer with the same number of instances.
Thanks

+1 . That would be a very useful new feature.

As it is now , we can Copy an image from outside TVPaint , then from Edit Menu > Clipboard we can paste the image from clipboard to TVPaint, but it pastes the image to a New Layer. We need option of Paste & Replace Image on Current Layer.

I'm not sure if this is what you want , but if you select your current layer , then go to NEW and select Duplicate Structure it will create a new blank layer with the same number of instances and the same timing.

I have previously distributed a panel like the one below at a Japanese user forum.

I'm sorry that the explanation is in Japanese, but I think you can get the meaning from just the images.
